He was a little nervous, little excited, little curious and not a big fan of the cake.

Mommy contacted me after I was recommended by few people in her local mom’s group and I am so happy she decided to book with me! She sent me few images from my past sessions to give me a better idea what she was looking for.

The setup came out so cute and balloons mommy ordered made it even more fun.

We started out with “regular” portraits and moved on to the cake. At first the little one was very curious and took a few bites, but once he realized that the cake was messy and sticky he lost interest and wanted nothing to do with it, I got all the best shots before he decided he was done!

I have to say first birthday/cake smash sessions are one of my favorite sessions and I enjoy photographing these special moments so much!
